Rhythm Station / Shehakim - Afula Crowns

You see them everywhere: Teenagers walking with a bounce in their step, bobbing to some unheard, upbeat melody, tapping their fingers on whatever and pretending to play a guitar or a drum to some song in their heads. Young people who create bands and songs we all know and remember. Every generation has its music and its stars, and Afula has designed a space where these kids can find their way and to do their thing. Eight bands of young musicians and singers, who can't afford practicing music in the city conservatory, create new tunes, play older ones, practice their art and prepare for an annual local highly anticipated gala concert. They record CDs for distribution, make lasting friendships and find a way to genuinely express what they're feeling inside.
