Wonderful feedback from the cooking and Hafla delegations in the past few years make us believe that this is a great way to engage large numbers of people with the Jewish Federations and Israel. The population in the Afula- Gilboa region comes from varied ethnicities -- Russia, Ethiopia, Israeli Arabs, Kurdistan, Ashkenaz and many others. Each ethnicity has its unique dishes, tastes, flavors and smells. They all make an interesting blend of food. Together with personal stories and authentic Israeli music, we aim to bring a cultural experience to the communities.
