Living bridge is the key engine in developing our continuous partnership with the GMW committee. We are looking to expand the number of adult and children in Arad that have a personal relationship to their peers in GMW. This project will be a model that will first involve teachers from Arad and GMW and latter will lead into joint programs from schools in Arad and GMW. The project can also be a pilot for more 'interest based living bridge projects' Two educators groups working together for a year; training on Jewish and Israel Education with the goal of building joint educational projects which will impact both communities. The project consists of four components; 1) Learning about Jewish and Israel education (theory) 2) Mapping the field in each community (GMW and Arad) 3) Encounter in which the educators will teach/learn from each other 4) Developing programming which can be used by additional educators in each community.
