In recent years, the YAD domain of the Montreal Beer Sheva/Bnei Shimon partnership has suffered from decreasing engagement. We believe this stems mainly from the lack of a clear connection to our partnership region and its people. We believe the best way to address this ambiguity and disconnect is by bringing together the young leaders of community organizations and social enterprises in both Montreal and Beer Sheva for a top level Young Leaders Summit. Taking place in September 2017, this summit brought together identified leaders, entrepreneurs and creative thinkers from both communities for a weekend of professional development and brainstorming around Jewish identity, communities in the diaspora and Israel, and Young Adult engagement.
