For the past four years, the Partnership has been sending young people for a year of service in Montreal. In August 2018, 8 Shinshinim (6 of them from the Partnership area) will move to Montreal for a year of service in the Jewish community. The Shinshinim will stay with host families during the year. They volunteer in Jewish schools, synagogues, afternoon programs for children and youth, day camps and night camps, youth movements. The Shinshinim Program in Montreal is part of the Israeli initiative a department that operates within the Jewish Federation of Montreal and is a resource and educational tool for the various educational institutions and institutions in the community in all aspects of Israeli education.
