Engliyada Beit Shean

A group of volunteers from Cleveland arrives to the Beit Shean region for a couple weeks every winter to teach English to local residents and get to know the region. The Engliyada experience allows them to meet with residents of Beit Shean and Valley of Springs, learn about the fascinating history of the region, be hosted by families of their "students", travel through the beautiful views, and feel rewarded by the satisfying experience of teaching and giving an important tool to the Partner residents. During the mornings, the volunteers take part in a program aimed at introducing them to the Region and its residents (touring sites, kibbutzim, moshavim, meeting with residents). In the evening, the volunteers teach spoken English to groups of 10–15 people. Target audience: all residents of the Region interested in learning spoken English.
