Arab-Jewish Womens Dialogue and Leadership Program

This program came about as a result of the tension in Israel and the great need to create social change and bring people together. The goal was to create change through acquaintance and dialogue, as well as promoting community leadership among Arab and Jewish women. Based on the belief that a common social goal and the implementation of a joint social project by the group members increases the tolerance and respect between Jewish and Arab women and their surroundings. Dialogue was facilitated through use of music. Following a 3 month musical dialogue process, leadership skills were taught and the group is to implement a community project in the Fall of 2018. This program was a collaboration between the Partnership and the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. A delegation of Arab and Jewish women from this program will be sent to South Africa in September 2019.
