Teen Leadership program Here we recruit Tamarack summer camp alumni entering the 8th and 9th grades to a program of leadership and volunteering activity lasting four to five years (until 11th grade). The program combines content for developing leadership and social awareness with practical volunteering in the community in a variety of social projects. Each year about 170 teens take part in the program, some of whom get to participate in follow-up programming with the Detroit community, including at Tamarack summer camp.
