The Kiryat Malachi Emergency Clinic (MARAM) is a life saving project. MARAM is open from 7.00 pm to 7.00 am on weekdays, as well as on Sabbath and holidays, including Yom Kippur. An average number of 800 patients come to the clinic every month. Most of these patients suffer from emergencies burns, broken bones, serious injuries, cuts, nausea, high fever, diarrhea, bad headaches or pain in other parts of the body. Almost every resident of Kiryat Malachi, who is sick during the night or during holidays when all of the regular health clinics are closed, comes to the emergency clinic, which is located on the ground floor of the Kiryat Malachi Municipality building.
