The You Belong project trains 25 at risk youth from the Kiryat Malachi and Hof Ashkelon region as dog handlers in Zakas Search and Rescue Canine Unit. The program combines animal therapy with practical skills and knowledge in order to empower the children as well as pave the way for a myriad of opportunities. Many graduates of the You Belong project have succeeded in serving in the IDFs prestigious Canine Unit.
