In the framework of the Eilat-Eilot-Toronto partnership and in cooperation between the schools, a significant, groundbreaking, interesting and enjoyable visit took place at the end of February in the Eilat and Eilot region when 15 students from the Bialik School in Toronto were hosted by "Gvanim" School students from Eilat and Eilot. The joint activity dealt with the field of sustainability and renewable energy. "Gvanim" student Aviv Levy: "on Friday night we had a family dinner with Kiddush and after it the Canadians that hosted and I set on the porch, and we talked about the two countries while listening to songs. All in all, this delegation that came was a very nice closure, because the kid that I hosted was my host at his house last year. I was happy to meet and get to know kids that live on the second part of the globe." The partnership's goal is to widen the activity in this field and to hold a renewable energy seminar every year. Next year expected to come 40 students from Bialik School to the seminar.
