Member of the Zionist Expanded Executive; Member of the Directorate of the JNF; Chairman of the World Sephardic Federation in Israel and World Vice President; in the past served as Chairman of the Workers Committee of the Jerusalem Municipality and member of the city council and as Secretary of the Jerusalem District of the Labor Party.
