Gail Greenspoon Member of the Board of Governors

A longtime lay leader, Dr. Gail Greenspoon has held an array of key positions within the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. Gail currently serves as Chairperson of the Federation of South Palm Beach County” Israel & Overseas Committee, she is a Women’s Philanthropy Officer-at-Large member, a member of the Federation’s Executive Board and is on the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation’s Executive Board and Investment Committee.

Among Gail’s other Federation positions, she has been inaugural Co-Chair of Federation’s Emerging Jewish Philanthropists initiative, Major Gifts Event Chair and Women’s Philanthropy Installation Chair. Deeply committed to the Jewish people around the globe, Gail has also chaired an International Lion of Judah Conference Mission, the EJP Mission to Cuba, a Partnership 2Gether Women’s Exchange and a Young Leadership Israel Mission. She received Federation’s prestigious James and Marjorie Baer Outstanding Young Leadership Award in 2009.

Beyond South Palm Beach County, Gail also serves on Jewish Federations of North America’s National Women’s Philanthropy Board, where she is Women’s Shabbat Co-Chair and previously co-chaired the Heart to Heart 5 Mission. Earlier, she was also a member of the National Young Leadership Cabinet.

Gail describes her longstanding, heartfelt motivation for this work: “I am committed to ensuring the continuity of the Jewish people by building a strong community locally and nationally, and a proud and passionate supporter of Israel.  I feel so fortunate that my involvement with federation allows me the opportunity to put my ideals into action.”

A licensed psychologist, Gail resides in Boca Raton with her husband Warren and three children.
