Lili Kaufmann Committee Member

Ms. Lili Kaufman is a Jewish leader from Tampa, Florida. Among her community activities she served on the National Women’s Board of the United Jewish Communities; Women’s Chair of the UJA S.E. Region; Helped to initiate and develop the National Lion of Judah  Endowment  for the National Women’s Campaign; Initiated the Women’s Endowment Portfolio for the UJA S.E. Region;  She and her husband created the first PACE funds for Tampa; Vice Chair of Small Cities for the S E Region of UJA; Member of the  CJF Young Leadership Council  of CJF for 10 years; Chaired the Tampa Women’s Division; Operation Exodus Chair for Tampa; Treasurer of the Tampa Federation; National Lion of Judah Kipnes Award winner ; Israel Bonds Honoree.

She has received the following awards and honors from her community:
•  First recipient of the Tampa Federation Barnett Young Leadership Award
• Tampa Federation Levinson  Outstanding Service to the Community Award
• Tampa Federation Kessler Memorial Women’s Award

She has been an active community leader in Tampa since 1980 including: Founding Chair& President of the Parents Association of Hillsborough; President of the Hillsborough County Medical Alliance; President of the Tampa Chapter of Women’s American ORT; Founding member of Congregation Beth Am; Past President of Congregation Beth Am in Tampa, Florida; Currently serves on the Federation JCRC & Leadership Council

Lili has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Chemistry and work experience as a Bio Medical Research Associate. She is married to Dr Barry Kaufmann and they have two married sons and four grandchildren.  She and her husband have resided in Tampa since 1976.

She is a committee member since July 2014.
