Rabbi Yehiel Wasserman is Associate President of World Mizrachi. In the past he served as Head of the Center for Religious Affairs in the Diaspora in the World Zionist Organization (WZO). Prior to that, Rabbi Wasserman served as Deputy Mayor of the City of Givatayim and fulfilled various educational positions in Israel and abroad within The Jewish Agency and other organizations. His publications include educational and guidance booklets in Judaism, articles on education and society published in daily newspapers, as well as periodicals and book reviews. Rabbi Wasserman has been a member of The Jewish Agency Board of Governors since 2003. on June 2021 he was elected Associate Member.
