Under the auspice of the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, physicians from different specialties would spend time learning about the Israeli medical system, share their knowledge and become better acquainted with their peers. On the other side, Israeli doctors travel to the American medical centers are matched with specified Jewish counterparts in their own specialty. In both cases, doctors would make rounds, see patients and observe procedures. In addition, there would be a joint meeting of all participating physicians with the administration and leadership of the hospital and identified speakers on the dynamics of the medical system. We strongly believe that a Physicians Exchange opportunity will help build a broader base for sharing knowledge and will provide a means for American and Israeli medical colleagues to expand their professional experience and to connect to medical colleagues both personally and professionally.
