We're about keeping you connected - recent news from P2G.

As we enter the fall season and the close of 5776, it’s a time for reflection of the past and contemplation of the future. Looking back on this past year, many of us came together to celebrate our P2G@20 milestone while we stewarded Partnerships into the 21st century! Working together globally, we examined new, creative opportunities to connect us to each other and our Jewish values. Through the process of our P2G innovative journey, we developed three exciting initiatives which will launch as lean pilots in several communities in the coming year.

Our Global Pre-Bar/Bat Mitzvah Intergenerational Platform for Jewish Experiences will strengthen pre-teens’ relationship to their family, local community, Israel and the Jewish people culminating with a joint Israel experience for the participating grandparents and grandchildren.

We’re introducing an incredible opportunity for 30-45 year olds in our new P2G Global Young Professional Platform for Jewish Action focused on the importance of the collective and mutual responsibility, while enabling participants to craft entrepreneurial hands on action in their own communities. This initiative is the perfect way to engage graduates of leadership programs in our communities—something which challenges so many of us.

We’re also establishing an exciting new opportunity through the Global School Twinning Network—STEM Twinning designed to expose young Jews to Israel as a Start-Up nation. Through a shared curriculum of robotics, virtual reality and technology, Israeli and non-Israeli junior high and high school students will connect with each other in a unique, compelling and most relevant way.

We’ve undergone an incredible journey of innovation and planning over the past year and all this happened while the day-to-day operations of our Partnerships expanded. And now, we move forward to an exhilarating future—enhancing, elevating, and bringing Partnerships to the next level—Kadima. It’s what we do—we’re fluid, we’re responsive, we’re relevant always seeking the best ways to connect us. That, my friends is what Partnership2Gether is all about, with the emphasis on Together!

May we continue to go from strength to strength in 5777. We wish you all a very sweet new year filled with connections and blessings.

L’Shana Tova,

Plan Ahead for UNITY DAY
June 1, 2017

On June 1 each year, all around the world, hundreds of people will come together and celebrate the diversity, tolerance and scope of practiced (or non-practiced!) Judaism which binds us together as a family. Unity Day’s purpose is to earmark one day to consider consciously deriving strength from our wholeness, our uniting across labels, across compartments, and across communities. It is imperative to our very survival – as a people – to understand that what divides us is insignificant in comparison to what we hold in common. On Unity Day, come as you are. The Jerusalem Unity Prize was awarded to our P2G Global School Twinning Network earlier this summer, and is a related initiative to Unity Day. Learn how to live, breath and practice unity in your corner of the world through your daily interactions.
