As our Jewish family in Pittsburgh is mourning the loss of the people in this terrible act of violence at the Etz Chaim Synagogue, we invite you, your students and your communities to join us in an international campaign to express solidarity with the Jews of Pittsburgh. Let the members of the Jewish community know that they are not alone.
Engage your students in the Jewish value of social responsibility by writing solidarity messages to Pittsburgh Jewish schools. This can be conducted as a school-wide project as well as a valuable classroom lesson for all ages, teaching the ancient Jewish ethic: “All of Israel is responsible for one another.”
