  • Join the fun in Louisville over the weekend of Bike and Bourbon- October 5-7, 2019. Saturday night will be a fun boat ride on the Ohio River and Sunday afternoon is the Brewfest at the Louisville JCC. Contact Michelle or Amy at grants@jewishlouisville.org for more information. 

  • Thanks to all the federations' staff and volunteers who were on the phone with me the past 2 weeks to hear about all the Partnership opportunities available for the coming 18 months. We are revamping the Calendar itself and will send it out to all of you. 

  • Planning for the BIG Buffalo mission - 90 people- to visit the Western Galilee at the end of October. They will have the unique experience of being in the region on municipal election day which has just turned into a day off!! The following day we will have the pleasure of hosting the JWRP women from Omaha. 

  • Dont miss gathering a group of people together to participate in the Global Day of Jewish Learning with the Partnership - November 11, 2018.  All you need is a place, people and cookies. The  content and program is provided by the Partnership. Contact Avital to sign up avitalbe@jafi.org

  • Met with the Israelis who will be riding in Louisville at the Bike and Bourbon - great group! Come ride or just shmooze with them.... 

  • Met with the Naval School in Akko to continue the discussion of joint programming between the Consortium communities and the school.

  • Thank you to Beth and Dan Zweig of Ft Wayne for the generous contribution to TPC. 

  • We have been blessed with another grandchild, healthy son to Binyamin and Efrat... Brit on Shabbat!

  • Best wishes to all for a new year of good health and renewed energy to continue making connections and engaging in our Jewish world.
