The Community Opinion Leaders delegation is your community's opportunity to recruit a local non-Jewish opinion leader who with a local staff or lay person will join this special mission. The COL mission will be Feb. 17-23,2020.  A community is responsible to pay the airfare for the non-Jewish and the Jewish participants. All ground costs are covered by money raised by Israelis.  Advisory committee for the Community Opinion Leaders Delegation met to further deliberate the desired profile of the participants and the goals of the trip. The flyer and information will be coming out within the month.

Met with Ilan Oz who is our summer "neighbor to be" since he runs a summer camp for 450 kids adjacent to our new Home. He is anxious to welcome us to "the neighborhood."    

Met with 2 professors from the WGC Political Science dept who have initiated a new Center for Research of the Galil with the idea to create an index of development of the region.  

The Academic Conference that had been planned to be in Omaha in the summer/fall is being postponed.  

The next Learn2Gether program will begin in the fall. Now is the time to interest people from your community to form a group.  Its easy, fun and enriching!!

Planning for incoming mission visits in early April - both Ft Worth and San Antonio. 

JWRP - 90 women strong will come together for a visit in the Western Galilee prior to their December trip. Michele Boukai is handling the logistics. mboukai@jfgi.org

Michelle Korin and I will be visiting communities in early April - Dayton, Louisville and Buffalo. 

Initial planning for cohort #3 of Women Leading a Dialogue. Danit and we are applying for grants to fund the third group who will begin activity in 2020 and subsequently visit communities. Communities who have not yet hosted the WLD will have top priority to receive the group.
