• Met with the 12 Israelis that will be joining us at the Summit. Background on Jewish Federations, Jewish Agency for Israel and the Partnership. Efrat ran the meeting in Israel and Michelle welcomed us via Zoom from NYC.
• With Heidi, met with Michael Aaronson for consultation on the preparation towards the Community Opinions Leaders trip. Please confirm with Heidi that your intention is to send a COL together with a rep from the Jewish community on the February 2020 trip.
• The furniture has arrived at The Partnership Center!
• Planning for the Ribbon Cutting ceremony on August 13 just before sunset!! Harold Gernsbacher will be joining us. Will you?
• Planning, planning for the Summit. Twenty first timers and 12 US communities, Budapest, Matte Asher and Akko represented so far! Fifty six people are registered. At the Summit we will hear a concert from Lazar Lloyd, dance with the camp kids, exchange ideas and learn new things together.
• The Buffalo Jewish Federation will be facilitating Monday’s sessions on Engagement - to bring us to share the Engagement language and see how it works for us, our federations and the Partnership.
• Meeting with Efrat, Judy, Iris and  Sharon Chait , the interim Partnership director (after Judy leaves June 30th) to further acquaint her with the Partnership organization.
• The Municipality of Akko has agreed to donate the Mezuzot for all the door posts in the interior of The Partnership Center. Thank you Mayor Shimon Lankri!!
