Chanukah sameach!

A group of 18 teens from the Lauder school in Budapest spent 5 wonderful days with their peers from the Sulam Tzur high school in Matte Asher. The joint group toured Akko, Rosh HaNikrah, and more but mostly enjoyed the wonderful Western Galilee home hospitality and bonding with their new friends. Celebrating Chanukah together added to the enlightening experience for both sides, and saying goodbye was very emotional. A reciprocal visit is planned in April. These visits are funded by the participants themselves!!

Lots of activity among many non-profits in the Western Galilee who are scrambling to put in their applications for the Buffalo grants- due tomorrow!

Monday was the first ever "Yahad" parade (with balloons brought from the Macy's Day Parade!)  in Jerusalem, "Israel and the Diaspora Together" with thousands of marchers including a small but mighty delegation from the Western Galilee led by our Chair Efrat!

Waiting to welcome on Sunday, the Violinists delegation from Ft Worth and Omaha with renowed violinist Gary Levinson and led by our veteran volunteer and staff Kim Goldberg (Ft Worth).  In addition to master classes, visits and musical mifgashim, Gary and 2 students will give 3 concerts over the week's time.

The Theatre delegation dates are in place and Visionaries Peter Harris and Guy Alon from the WGC Theatre department will be visiting Indianapolis, Dayton and Louisville in February.

Heidi is busy planning for visits this month from YA from Indianapolis, Ronit Sherwin and family, a Louisville synagogue group and more!

Planning, planning to make a great Communities' Council meeting in NW IN. Ten communities are already represented. PLEASE REGISTER NOW!!

If you have not yet joined us on The Partnership Center donor wall, please do!! Partnership is about ALOT of people being involved.

Shabbat Shalom!

Bracha
