Sahi GPS

GPS is part of SAHI - a revolutionary program that works towards a fundamental change in the lives of youth, based on the belief that teaching them to give to others in need, will foster young people who are values-oriented and believe in themselves and able to successfully integrate into society. At risk youth between the ages of 13 and 18, become ambassadors of giving in their community, providing food to needy families on a weekly basis, renovating homes of people with special needs, Holocaust survivors, elderly people and more. SAHI is operating in the Kiryat Gat-Lachish area since 2009, with 6 youth giving groups. The GPS project focuses on at-risk girls and assists them to become part of the groups, while creating a safe place for at-risk teenage girls. The program includes groups of girls in the Kiryat Gat-Lachish region and meets the emotional needs of the girls, gives them a sense of belonging and empowers them.
