An English-language-only summer camp to be held during July 2008. Counselors are volunteers from the Chicago Jewish Community who come to the Region to work at the Kefiyada and stay with host families. They provide the camp with a special atmosphere that encourages everyday use of English throughout the days activities. The program is varied and includes activities on special theme days (pool, trips, performances, other attractions). Participants will be recommended and selected by English teachers at local elementary schools. They will be interviewed by the camp staff to ensure that their command of English suits participation in an English only environment.
