Creating thriving classrooms

Matzmichim will provide anti-bullying training and workshops for school professionals, students and parents. The program will encompass: a) teacher trainings that impart tools to confront all types of violence and strategies to motivate students towards pro-social behavior and acts of caring towards peers; b) refresher sessions for teachers to enhance know-how and provide additional tools to motivate classrooms towards behavioral change; c) classroom workshops designed to enhance social-emotional skills and stress the role of peer mechanisms and positive social leadership in successfully reducing violence and aggression; d) sequel workshops to enhance positive processes in the classroom that were instigated as a result of the first workshop (in 2017); e) anti-bullying ambassadors training to develop students leadership capacity to model and increase pro-social behaviors; f) parent-student workshops to encourage parents to promote values and acts of caring among their children.
