The School Twinning project strives to establish educational, cultural and social ties between educators, students and parents in our communities based on our common peoplehood. Modern technology allows for direct and open communication using tools such as Skype, which offer the possibility of meeting face to face, opening new doors to communication, despite geographical limitations, based on solid connections between the educators. Using strong based technology available through the internet allows direct and creative development of online projects. Highlight days in schools serve as a way to enlighten entire schools and parents on specific subjects and so enable the development of Parent 2 Parent connections and stressing the importance of ongoing projects throughout the year. Lines of communication between the principals and educators are achieved through prescheduled conference calls. Direct communication allows the educators to meet expectations, enable curriculum discussion and assist in future planning. Topics are chosen by each team of principal and educators. As the project develops we recognize the need to include individual projects that will be active throughout the entire school year.
