Reading enhancement program in preschools with a strong Jewish Identity component and a potential for Living Bridge activities. Copies of 8 books are given throughout the year to each child. Building Bridges: Some of the books used in Israel are also used by the PJ Library in North America, increasing common Jewish culture on both sides of the Atlantic. Even when books are not common to both programs, the values they address often are. Therefore, the Building Bridges program offers abundant opportunities for our Partnership 2Gether communities to take the initiative and create their own joint programming around books and/or values common to Sifriyat Pijama and PJ Library in order to consolidate and reinforce ties between the parents in the communities.
