The program involves tracing family roots whereby strengthening Jewish identity and the connection to the Jewish people. 80 students participate in the program in both communities under the supervision of their principals and teachers. The students communicate via email and through webcams. The students from the David Posnack 8th grade participate in an annual school program to Israel. This program's highlight is a face to face meeting "mifgash" to occur in Nesher. In addition, during the "mifgash", the students hold a memorial service for Daniel Wultz (may his memory be blessed), a former student of the David Posnak School, who was killed in a terrorist bombing in Tel Aviv.
