The Project "Under the Same Moon" was created to connect two families belonging to Jewish communities around the world in a creative way. Each family that takes part in the project will join an enriching journey with another family across the sea. The families take part in writing the book and share their unique family story with their partner. The project takes six months, each month each family sends a letter (in English), to their partner by air mail. Six months, six envelopes in the book, six different issues of family life, six small stories together which create a great story! Goals: Create a strong connection between families in the US and Israel Expanding the circles of partnership participation to more families, schools, Shuls and organizations within our communities Learn new cultural and Jewish traditions by sharing our life with Jewish family overseas. Strengthening the understanding and belonging to a Jewish community. Increase knowledge of the partnership region and people who live there.
