On Chanukah, 2017, 13 young adults from Shoham and Venezuela met in Budapest for a leadership seminar. Throughout the seminar the participants learned about the richness of the Jewish community in Budapest reflecting on their communities: similarities, differences and challenges, met key persons in the community, participated in community events, etc. Participants also went through a joint process in which they worked on common projects which will contribute to the goals of the partnership taking into consideration the challenging situation in Venezuela projects involved social activism, connecting Venezuelans to Shoham and a digital platform of the partnership.
