Yokneam Elderly Active Community

Activity promoting functioning in the physical/motor/emotional dimension: The elderly experience various losses of physical functioning; this impacts their ability to manage their lives as it does their emotional state.  Activity focused on preserving, and even strengthening, functioning ability via physical motor activity will be administered by professional instructors, in different occupational fields. Activity promoting social functioning activating the elderly group and integrating its members into activity with young people.  Activity will focus on social activities between the elderly and the younger generation, i.e., social get to gathers, parties and holiday celebrations, working with computers, home visits to sick elderly. Also celebrations and day trips during the year are planned as part of the on going activities.
