Ulpan Etzion Ye’elim Be’er Sheva

Designed specifically for young immigrants who hold college degrees, this program provides an academic Hebrew foundation for life in Israel and for those who wish to further their studies in Israel. 
 
ELIGIBILITY
 
  1. Classes at Ulpan Etzion Ye’elim are open to college graduates aged 22-35.
  2. On-campus accommodation is available to singles and couples without children.
  3. Admission for off-campus students of any family status is on a case-by-case basis.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The new Ulpan Etzion Ye’elim program is housed at The Jewish Agency’s Ye’elim Absorption Center in Be’er Sheva, which is considered "the capital of the Negev." Ye’elim is located in a pleasant neighborhood near a shopping center with a bank, post office, pharmacy, grocery store, and bakery. Be’er Sheva is home to Ben-Gurion University and the renowned Soroka Medical Center. It is easily accessible to the center of Israel via a high-speed train. 
 
Ulpan Etzion students are housed one student per bedroom in 2- or 3-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a kitchenette, bathroom, small dining area, and basic furnishings. The apartments come with central heating and hot water (a small electric boiler in each apartment). The Absorption Center facilities include a laundry room. Students may order connections for television, cable television, and the internet at their own expense.

The five month course begins in September.

COST
