Daryl Messinger

Daryl Messinger is Chair of the Association of Reform Zionists of America (ARZA).

She is the immediate past chair of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) Board of Trustees—the first woman to ever hold this position. In addition to ongoing responsibilities with the URJ, she currently serves as a vice chair of Leading Edge, on the boards of Israel Policy Forum and Hebrew Union College–JIR.  From 2011-2015, Daryl was chair of the Reform Pension Board, which serves Reform movement professionals and has a total portfolio of more than $1.7 billion.

She is a past president of the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto, CA; a past treasurer of Jewish Family and Children Services; and past president of Congregation Beth Am in Los Altos Hills, CA. She is an alumna of the Wexner Heritage Program. Prior to retiring, Daryl was an executive vice president of W2O, an integrated marketing communications agency, and previously was a partner at Glynn Capital Management, an investment management firm.

Daryl and her husband Jim Heeger live in Palo Alto, CA, and Lenox, MA. They have two grown sons.
