David Weiner Committee Member

Much of David’s involvement in communal work was motivated in part by him being a first generation American on his father’s side. As such David has been deeply involved in the Jewish Community for more than 30 years and participated in the Wexner Heritage Program. Following his graduation from The American University with a BA in Political Science David joined his father in the family business where he is now President of Weiner Insurance. David has served on AIPAC’s National Council and Chaired the AIPAC Phoenix chapter in which he hosted 3 Congressional trips to Israel.  Much of David’s time has been devoted to the Jewish Federation of Phoenix where was a Young Leadership Award winner and  past Chair of the Israel Overseas Council and Board Co-Chair.  David also served as past Chairman of the Jewish Community Foundation and is currently on the board of Temple Chai.  Outside the Jewish Community David served on Arizona Governor Hull’s Task Force on Diversity. David fills his free time on the golf course and collecting vintage cars. David, with his husband Robert Weiner, lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.
He served as a Committee Member since June 2015.  In October 2017 he was elected as a Board Member.
