A strategic planning process allows a Partnership to reflect upon itself and redefine its goals in sync with changes in the organizational environment in Israel and the Jewish communities abroad. The importance of a strategic planning process stems from its ability to harness the involvement of the Partnership's leadership and its volunteers in defining the policy and main directions for years to come.
In the past few years, the Partnership Unit has developed and adapted several tools to support Partnerships in strategic planning processes as well as enhance their ability to examine aspects of their day-to-day operations; all with the intent of supporting the continuous advancement of each Partnership’s development. The materials included introduce basic terms and concepts as well as selected strategic planning tools.
