Hosted over 25 participants from Omaha for a 24 hours in the Western Galilee. They were feted at peoples' homes for dinner, worked hard packing boxes of food, bagging beets and cabbage at Orot Hesed in Akko, visited the GMC and Shop for Meaning and enjoyed lunch with shlichim past, present and future!!
Met and oriented the new shlichim that will be leaving soon to take up their posts in Indianapolis, NW IN and Omaha!! We wish them and their host communities a wonderful year!
Completed round one of individual phone calls with all the Execs. Next round with all communities' Partnership staff/chairs to preview the Calendar of Opportunities for this coming year.
Austin, Dayton, Ft Wayne, Ft Worth, South Bend and Youngstown are working on plans for hosting the Women Cooking/Leading a Dialogue who will be visiting in 2 groups from the end of October.

Had an ad hoc focus group with a number of federation Partnership staff and the chairs to brainstorm and get input as to the most desired possibilities for providing Partnership content and contact for communities' Yom Haatzmaout celebrations.
