A People-to-People partnership has been facilitated for the first time between Jewish students in campuses in the UK and Tel Chai College, where UJIA has invested significantly in its development. Student organizations on both sides of the ocean are linked Hillel Centre at Tel Hai College and UJS (Union of Jewish Students) in various campuses in the UK. A small group of Tel Hai students are chosen for their leadership to participate in a Partnership orientation program and a series of mifgashim with relevant projects (Leo Baeck College, Arsenal). They experience Jewish learning and values through the selected Partnership sessions. For two months, Israeli students connect with British Jewish students in preparation for their mifgash at UK universities in March 2014. UK students on their UJS Israel trip will spend time at Tel Hai to meet with fellow students and explore further connections between Hillel and UJS.
