The mission of the Dallas - Western Galilee Partnership Program is to help build and maintain a strong, two-way relationship between Dallas and the Western Galilee, to bring Israel alive every day in the Dallas community and to work to develop a stronger, more secure, and successful populous and infrastructure in the Western Galilee.
We recognize the value of strong personal connections between the Dallas community and the Western Galilee. These relationships will help strengthen the connections to Israel and provide for collaborative opportunities – between businesses, doctors and healthcare professionals, educators, and more.
The Partnership Program invests in projects that provide a positive impact on citizens of both communities in one of the following Impact Areas:
Social Mobilization:
We support organizations that focus on at-risk youth and areas of leadership, development, and coexistence.
Outreach and Engagement :
We work with organizations that are focused on bringing people or programs to the region and provide opportunities for building relationships between Dallas and the Western Galilee.
Growth and Entrepreneurship / Employment :
We are involved with organizations focused on bringing people and jobs to the region that will have a positive economic impact.
The mission of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas (or “JFGD”) is to help ensure the continuity of a strong and vibrant Jewish community in Dallas, Israel and throughout the world.
The Federation is a member of the Jewish Federations of North America, which represents 148 Jewish Federations and over 300 Network communities.
The Federation movement, collectively among the top 10 charities on the continent, protects and enhances the well-being of Jews worldwide through the values of tikkun olam (repairing the world), tzedakah (charity and social justice) and Torah (Jewish learning).
The Federation is the central coordinating agency for the Dallas Jewish community and is the one place where philanthropy, volunteerism and shared commitment come together to make a difference in the community and around the world.
