During winter break, 2018, 3 teachers from the two Jewish day schools in Memphis - Bornblum and Margolin arrived in Shoham for a 5 day seminar with their peer educators from Shoham schools - Avney Hachoshen, Shachaf, Shalhevet Ulpana and Yeshiva and Yahalom Junior High. The teachers met Shoham Mayor and learned about the Informal and Formal educational structure in the town. The joint seminar involved an opening dinner, meeting with local steering committee members and chair, professional development, peer learning, tours and developing joint work plans. The teachers had a very warm welcoming in their "twin schools" by principals, teachers and pupils.
