Chefs Exchange

Chef Exchanges is a program that began with the Tulsa community a few years ago. Since then, more than a dozen delegations of chefs have been sent to the three communities, Tulsa, Milwaukee and St. Paul. The Milwaukee community hosted four women from different ethnic backgrounds – the "Cooking Mamas". The project blossomed into official ties with the Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and with Hotel Management College in the city of Okmulgee. Bill Ryan, Dean of the OSU College, together with chef, Aaron Ware visited Tiberias in February, 2012, and were hosted by the Rimonim College, where the professional relationship was made. The hosts met with the professional chefs of the region, which included tours and meetings and evening a professional workshop. When Oklahoma State University held its annual gala fundraising dinner in November 2012 the evening featured leading chefs from around the world, including two from Tulsa’s Sovev Kinneret P2G Region – Erez Amos and Ilan Roberg.
