This program is designed to generate leadership that will lead to volunteerism and activism in the Partnership, to give participants knowledge of Israeli culture, and to create a meaningful dialogue between religious and secular on cultural and Jewish identity issues. The program includes three main axes spanning two years: 1. Pluralistic Beit Midrash: Educational meetings based on a study booklet. The Beit Midrash deals with Jewish and Israeli texts, on a historical axis of texts that, speak to each other...from King Solomon to Leah Goldberg, from the Rambam to Alterman. 2. Community Leadership: Study topics such as the nature of the Partnership, Israel Diaspora relations, Israeli civil society, leadership figures, resource mobilization and group work together with a day of study and exposure to Jewish renewal in Israel will lead the group to a voluntary vision and practical action. 3. The Jewish world in the Diaspora: In the second year, the Israeli group will embark on a study trip to Budapest to learn about the emerging Jewish community there.
