4. Resolution for Multi-Year Funding: The pre-Army Academies of The Jewish Agency
Be it resolved that following the recommendation of the Budget and Finance Committee and of the Executive, the Board of Governors resolves as follows:
Whereas:  in June 2013 the Board of Governors approved JAFI's multi-year commitment to the pre-Army Academies of The Jewish Agency and therefore both JAFI and the Alexander Grass Foundation committed to an annual payment of 200 thousand US dollars for five school years 9/2013-8/2018; and
Whereas:  the Grass Foundation has agreed to increase the annual payment and the period of the commitment, and therefore to commit to a total annual payment of 500 thousand US dollars for five school years 9/2014-8/2019 (totaling in the amount of 2.5 Million dollars), subject to a JAFI multi-year commitment to an annual payment of 500 thousand US dollars for five school years 9/2014-8/2019 (totaling in the amount of 2.5 Million dollars), and to a JAFI commitment to name the pre army programs of The Jewish Agency after Alexander Grass; and
Whereas:  the Grass Foundation and JAFI agree that unused amounts from the annual payment for a school year will be added to the total annual budget of the  following school years; and
Whereas:  JAFI wishes to undertake such a multi-year commitment;

Therefore be it resolved that:
1. A multi-year commitment of 500 thousand US dollars per annum, for five school years 9/2014-8/2019, is approved for JAFI's participation in the financing of the pre-Army Academies of The Jewish Agency.
2.   The Finance unit is authorized to handle the implementation of the above resolution.
